Earnest workers have no time for dwelling upon the faults of others. We cannot afford to live on the husks of others’ faults or failings.

The value of song as a means of education should never be lost sight of. Let there be singing in the home, of songs that are sweet and pure, and there will be fewer words of censure and more of cheerfulness and hope and joy.

Those who realize their dependence upon God will feel that they must be honest with their fellow men, and, above all, they must be honest with God, from whom come all the blessings of life. The evasion of the positive commands of God concerning tithes and offerings is registered in the books of heaven as robbery toward Him.

In all ages the coming of the Lord has been the hope of His true followers. In their suffering and persecution, the “appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ” was the “blessed hope” (Titus 2:13).

He who is at peace with God and his fellow men cannot be made miserable. Envy will not be in his heart; evil surmisings will find no room there; hatred cannot exist.

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men. Titus 2:11

Prayer is communicating with God. Pouring out our joy, sadness and difficulties with the one who knows the deepest desires of our heart.
